Danielle Olson | Executive Director
Danielle joined the Sunnyside team in June 2012. She grew up near New York Mills, MN and attended college at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. Danielle graduated with degrees in Healthcare Administration and Long Term Care Administration. Danielle joined Ecumen in 2010 as a Housing Director working with memory care assisted living, market rate assisted living and HUD housing. Outside of work Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. Danielle’s favorite part about working in long term care is the ability to make a difference in someone’s life each day.
Lori Olson | Director of Nursing
Lori joined the Sunnyside team in September 1978 and has held all positions within the nursing department during her tenure. Lori loves working with the residents and their families. She also enjoys teaching the nursing staff and being a mentor as they advance in their nursing careers. Lori is active in her professional organizations as well as in the community.
Randi Handegaard | Life Enrichment Manager
Randi joined the Sunnyside team in 1975 and is currently the team member with the longest tenure. Randi grew up in Fargo, ND and earned her degree from North Dakota State College of Science. Randi and her husband, Mark raised their daughters in rural Lake Park, enjoying all that country life holds. Randi is a COTA/L and has been our Life Enrichment Manager for over 40 years. When asked about her favorite part of working at Sunnyside she simply says, “I’m loving every minute!”
Annette Blade | Dining, Housekeeping & Laundry Manager
Annette joined the Sunnyside team in November 2004. She is originally from Alexandria, Minnesota. In 2004 Annette completed the Dietary Manager program at Alexandria Technical and Community College and become a Certified Dietary Manager. Annette previously worked for Knute Nelson Nursing Home in Alexandria as a Food Production Supervisor before joining the Sunnyside team as the Dining Director. Annette resides in Hawley, MN with her 3 cats; one of those cats is often found at Sunnyside providing countless hours of entertainment to our residents.
